All services are offered by Youth Mentor Michelle Rodgers. She brings a wealth of knowledge and front line experience to the program including her Child and Youth Care diploma, years of experience working with both at-risk and mainstream Youth, Certification in Equine Assisted Learning and lifelong experience of riding, training and competing with horses.

Steppingstone offers a wide variety of Equine Programs, and we can assist you with selecting which one might be the best fit for you! A tour and initial orientation will take place prior to starting sessions. This helps Participants become familiar with the setting, horses and mentor to help alleviate any stress or anticipation about the unknown. All of our Programs are voluntary meaning Participants must have a desire to be here and participate.

Programs can be completed privately (with one person), semi-privately (with two people), or in groups (three or more). Our programs are developed for Youth ages 8-25 however we do offer "Enhance" programs. Enhance Programs are designed for a Youth and their supports/family. These programs are helpful to increase communication, build trust and develop a stronger relationship. A family going through a transition, facing behavioral challenges or just wanting to strengthen their overall relationship would excel in these programs.
